Build your guest list
Add guests one at a time, see the confirmed / declined / maybe / pending counts, and keep notes against each name.

What it is
The guest list for one event. Every guest has a name, an optional email, a reply status, and room for meal preference, dietary needs, accessibility needs, a plus-one and free-text notes.
When to use it
As soon as you know who you are inviting — before you build the RSVP form, so you have someone to send it to.
Who can use it
The event owner, and platform staff.
Where to find it
- Guest List (across your events)
- Or open an event → Guests & RSVPs for just that event
Before you start
- An event to attach the guests to.
Step by step
Open your event and go to Guests & RSVPs.
Add a guest with at least a name. An email address lets you send them an invitation later.
Mark anything you already know — meal preference, dietary restrictions, a plus-one.
Repeat, or import the rest from a spreadsheet if the list is long.
What you should end up with
Options and settings
- Status
- Pending, Invited, Confirmed, Declined, Maybe, or Checked In. It updates itself when a guest replies.
- Plus-one
- Records that this guest brings someone, and their name once you know it.
- VIP
- Flags a guest for special handling — it shows up at check-in.
- Notes
- Anything that does not fit a field. Only you see it.
Common mistakes
- Adding a couple as one guest called "Ada and Tobi". Two people are two guests — otherwise the headcount, the catering numbers and the seating are all wrong.
- Leaving out email addresses and then wanting to email invitations. Add the address before you send.
- Counting a plus-one as a separate guest AND ticking the plus-one box, which double-counts them.
If something goes wrong
- A guest I added is not in the list.
- Check you are looking at the right event. The sidebar Guest List spans your events; the event hub shows one.
- The confirmed count does not match what people have told me.
- Only replies through the RSVP form change the status automatically. Set the status by hand for anyone who told you in person.
Worth knowing
- Enter the whole list even if some have already said yes — the counts, seating and check-in all read from this one list.
