Vendors, Quotes & Orders

Request, review and accept a quote

Ask for a price, read what is included, and accept it — which turns it into an invoice.

On this page

What it is

A written price from our team for work you have asked about. A quote has a number, a total, a validity date and a status; accepting it becomes an invoice.

When to use it

For anything priced individually — Premier planning, custom décor, a bespoke cake, a large rental order.

Who can use it

Anyone can request one. Reviewing and accepting is done either in your dashboard or through the secure link emailed to you.

Where to find it

Step by step

  1. Request a price from the quote page, or ask through a vendor enquiry.

  2. Wait for our team to prepare it. You are emailed when it is ready.

  3. Open it — from My Quotes or from the link in the email.

  4. Read what is included, what is not, and the validity date.

  5. Accept it, or decline with a reason so we can revise it.

Accepting is a deliberate action on the page. Simply opening the email never accepts anything.

What you should end up with

An accepted quote becomes an invoice you can pay. A declined one comes back to us to revise.

Options and settings

Draft
We are still preparing it. You cannot see it yet.
Sent
It is with you and can be accepted or declined.
Accepted
You have agreed the price. An invoice follows.
Declined
You said no. Tell us why and we can quote again.
Expired
The validity date passed. Ask for a fresh quote — prices move.

Common mistakes

  • Waiting past the validity date and expecting the price to hold.
  • Declining without a reason, which means the revision is a guess.
  • Forwarding the secure quote link to other people. It is personal to you and lets the holder accept on your behalf.

If something goes wrong

The quote link says not found.
The link has expired or was truncated by an email client. Open it from My Quotes instead, or ask us to resend.
The quote has been revised and I cannot accept the old one.
That is intended — a revised price replaces the old one, so nobody is held to a number that is no longer offered. Accept the current version.
I accepted but there is no invoice.
Give it a few minutes. If nothing arrives, contact support with the quote number.
