Bookings and paying in instalments

Track a booked service from deposit through to completion, and pay in stages where offered.

On this page

What it is

A booking is a service you have reserved. It moves through a set of states as money arrives and the work happens, and some bookings can be paid in instalments rather than all at once.

When to use it

After you have accepted a quote or booked a service directly.

Who can use it

The person who made the booking, and platform staff.

Where to find it

Step by step

  1. Choose the booking to see its status, what is included, and what is owed.

  2. Pay the deposit to confirm it.

  3. Where instalments are offered, open the instalment schedule and pay each one as it falls due.

  4. Settle the balance before the event.

What you should end up with

A confirmed booking with a clear payment position and no surprises the week of the event.

Common mistakes

  • Treating a pending booking as confirmed. Nothing is held until the deposit is paid.
  • Missing an instalment date and assuming a reminder will arrive in time. Diary them.

If something goes wrong

My booking is still pending after paying.
Confirmation follows the payment processor, not the browser. Refresh after a minute; contact support if it has not moved after ten.
I need to change the date.
Contact support with the booking reference. Date changes depend on availability and the supplier's terms.
