Pay an invoice
Open the invoice, check the amount, and pay securely by card.
On this page
What it is
A bill for work you have agreed to. It shows what is owed, what has already been paid, and a secure payment link. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never by us.
When to use it
When you have accepted a quote, or when a deposit or balance falls due on an order.
Who can use it
The person the invoice was issued to, in their dashboard or through the emailed link.
Where to find it
- My Payments
- Invoices are also linked from the accepted quote and the confirmation email
Step by step
Open the invoice from your dashboard or from the email.
Check the amount and what it covers.
Choose to pay. You are taken to our secure payment page.
Enter your card details there and confirm.
Wait for the confirmation before closing the tab.
Payment is confirmed by the payment processor telling us, not by the page returning. Closing early does not lose your payment, but the status may take a moment to catch up.
What you should end up with
Options and settings
- Partially paid
- A deposit has been received and a balance remains.
- Paid
- Nothing further is owed.
Common mistakes
- Paying twice because the status had not updated yet. Refresh and check before paying again.
- Using a card with an international block. Ring your bank first if a payment is declined.
If something goes wrong
- My card was declined.
- See A payment failed.
- I paid but it still says unpaid.
- Give it a couple of minutes and refresh. Confirmation comes from the payment processor, not the browser. If it is still wrong after ten minutes, contact support with the time and amount.
- I cannot find my receipt.
- Receipts are emailed by the payment processor. Check spam, then look in My Payments.
