Common mistakes
- Requesting several resets in a row and then using the oldest link. Use the most recent email.
- Requesting a password reset for an account that signs in with Google. There is no password to reset — use the Google option.
If something goes wrong
- The reset email never arrived.
- Check spam. Confirm you used the address you registered with — a reset for an unknown address deliberately produces the same message.
- The reset link says it is invalid.
- It has expired or has already been used. Request a fresh one.
- I still cannot sign in.
