Troubleshooting & FAQs
I cannot sign in
Wrong password, wrong sign-in method, a deactivated account, or an expired reset link.
What it is
The four things that stop a sign-in, and how to tell them apart.
When to use it
When the sign-in page will not let you through.
Who can use it
Anyone.
Where to find it
Step by step
Check the email address, character by character. A typo here looks exactly like a wrong password.
Check how you originally signed up. An account created with Google has no password — use the Google option.
Reset the password from Forgot password and use the newest email.
If you requested account deletion, the account is deactivated on purpose. Use Reactivate during the grace period.
Try a private browser window, which rules out a stale session.
If none of that works, contact support with the email address you are trying — never with your password.
What you should end up with
We will never ask for your password
If something goes wrong
- The reset email never arrives.
- Check spam. Confirm the address is the one you registered with — for security, an unknown address produces the same confirmation message either way.
- The reset link is invalid.
- It has expired or already been used. Request a fresh one and use it straight away.
- It says my account is not active.
- It has been deactivated or suspended. Reactivate it if you requested deletion; otherwise contact support.
