Getting Started
Find your way around the dashboard
What each part of the sidebar does, and the difference between your account area and a single event.
On this page
What it is
Your dashboard has two levels. The sidebar covers your whole account — every event, every order. Inside an event, a second set of links covers just that event.
When to use it
Whenever you cannot find something. Nearly every "where is…" question is answered by knowing which of the two levels it belongs to.
Who can use it
Any signed-in user. Staff accounts see an extra Admin section.
Where to find it
What you should end up with
Account level — the sidebar
- Planning
- My Events, Calendar, Checklist, Budget — across everything you are planning.
- Creative
- Creative Studio, Cake Designer, Decoration Advisor.
- Services
- Bookings, Quotes, Payments, Rental Orders, Cake Orders, Referrals & Coupons.
- Discover
- Find Local Pros, and the blog.
- Bottom of the sidebar
- Back to Site, Settings, and Help & Support.
Event level — inside one event
Open an event from My Events and you get its own hub: Guests & RSVPs, Event Website, Share & Invite, Budget, Seating, Check-In, and — if you have bought it — the Concierge Workspace. Anything that belongs to one event lives here, not in the sidebar.
The quickest rule of thumb
Worth knowing
- On a phone, the five most-used destinations sit in a bar along the bottom of the screen instead of a sidebar.
- The sidebar collapses to icons if you want more room — the labels come back on hover.
