Approve what Concierge proposes

Nothing reaches a vendor or a guest until you have said yes.

What it is

An approval queue. Work our team proposes — a vendor shortlist, a message, a calendar hold — waits there for your decision.

When to use it

Whenever the queue has something in it. Check it every few days once sourcing is under way.

Who can use it

The event owner.

Where to find it

  • Open the event → Approvals

Step by step

  1. Open the event and go to Approvals.

  2. Read each item — what it is, and what happens if you approve it.

  3. Approve it, or reject it with a reason.

What you should end up with

Approved work proceeds. Rejected work comes back to us with your reason.

Options and settings

Assisted mode
Everything waits for you. The default.
Autopilot
Lets low-risk, reversible, internal actions proceed without a wait. Anything that reaches a vendor or a guest is never eligible.

A vendor shortlist is never sent automatically

Approving a vendor shortlist records your choice — it does not fire off emails to those vendors. Anything that would contact a vendor or a guest on your behalf always needs an explicit action, never an automatic one.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving the queue for a fortnight. Approvals are usually the thing blocking progress.
  • Rejecting without a reason, which means the next proposal is a guess.

If something goes wrong

I approved something and nothing happened.
Some approvals record a decision rather than trigger an action — a vendor shortlist is one. If you expected a message to go out, ask in the workspace.
My queue is empty but I am waiting on something.
It is still being prepared. Ask in the workspace for a status.
