Planning Your Event
Publishing the replay
Tidy the recording, publish it for your guests, and decide how long it stays available.
On this page
What it is
The recording of your broadcast, with chapters, published to the same guests on the same link they used on the day.
When to use it
After the event, for guests who missed it or want to see it again — and for you.
Who can use it
The host of the event. How long a replay stays available depends on your plan.
Where to find it
Before you start
- A broadcast that was recorded. Recording cannot be added afterwards.
- A few minutes after the broadcast ends for the recording to be prepared.
Step by step
Open the broadcast and choose the Replay tab.
Give it a title, and trim the waiting-around from the beginning or end.
Trimming changes nothing permanently — you can put it back at any time.
Check the chapters.
If you published an order of service, they are already there and already correct. Edit any that are not.
Press Save, then Publish the replay.
What you should end up with
Options and settings
- Who can watch the replay
- Set separately from the live broadcast. A ceremony streamed to invited family only can have a public replay, or the other way round.
- How long it stays up
- Your guests are emailed before a replay is removed, never after — so nobody discovers it has gone.
- Download
- On some plans you can download the recording to keep.
Common mistakes
- Trimming too aggressively before watching it back. Nothing is lost, but it is easier to get right once.
- Assuming guests will find it. Send the replay-ready notice — it goes to the same people, on the same link.
If something goes wrong
- The Replay tab says it is still processing
- That is normal for a few minutes after a broadcast ends. Close the page and come back.
- There is no recording at all
- The broadcast was set up without recording. It cannot be recovered — for next time, leave recording on when you create the broadcast.
