Planning Your Event

Change your event details

Update the name, dates, guest count or status after the event exists.

On this page

What it is

Every field you set when creating the event can be changed afterwards, plus a status that describes where the event has got to.

When to use it

When the date moves, the headcount firms up, or the event is over.

Who can use it

The event owner, and platform staff.

Where to find it

  • My Events
  • Open the event, then edit its details from the hub

Step by step

  1. Open the event from My Events.

  2. Edit the detail you need — name, description, type, dates, or expected guest count.

  3. Save.

What you should end up with

The change is reflected everywhere that reads it, including per-guest budget figures and the public event page.

Options and settings

Status
Draft, Planning, Confirmed, In Progress, Completed or Cancelled. It describes the event; it does not restrict what you can do.
Expected guest count
Drives per-guest budget rows and the Concierge price quote. Changing it re-prices those rows immediately.

Common mistakes

  • Changing the guest count and expecting already-recorded actual spend to change. Actual spend is money you have paid; only estimates recalculate.
  • Cancelling an event to hide it. Cancelling changes the status; it does not remove the guest list or refund orders.

If something goes wrong

The new date is not showing on the public page.
The public page caches briefly. Reload it; if it still shows the old date, re-save the page in the builder.
